1. What we collect

When you browse, we collect standard analytics data (via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, subject to your cookie consent). When you book, we collect your name, email, mobile number, traveller details (passport information, dietary/mobility preferences) and payment metadata (we never store full card numbers — these are handled entirely by our payment gateway).

2. Why we collect it

• To verify your identity via email and mobile OTP before checkout.
• To process bookings, issue vouchers/invoices, and provide 24×7 on-tour support.
• To send booking-related communication: receipts, pre-booking reminders, and lapse notices.
• With consent, to send marketing updates about new departures and offers.

3. Who we share it with

We share booking details with the specific hotels, airlines and local operators needed to fulfil your trip, and with our payment gateway (Razorpay/Stripe) to process transactions. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

Booking and invoice records are retained for 8 years to comply with Indian tax and GST record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of marketing-only data at any time.

5. Your rights

You can access, update or request deletion of your data from My Account, or by writing to hello@zippotrips.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent via the cookie banner, analytics cookies (GA4, Meta Pixel) to understand usage. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
